Yoga therapy is a path, one which enables a man or woman – regardless of age and current physical fitness – to contribute to a sustainable way of maintaining or improving one’s physical and mental health. It combines the elements of body, breath and relaxation training to embody a holistic form of therapy. One learns to breathe correctly and to use one’s breath as a pacemaker for the expression of their movements.

Yoga therapy can effectively treat and proactively prevent a number of physical conditions such as back, neck, muscle and joint pain or even tension, insomnia, restlessness, stress, fatigue and low moods.

The first lesson will act as an evaluation combined with a physical analysis to assess and define the theme of your therapy. Based on our findings, we will put together a tailor-made series of exercises spanning 20-30 minutes in duration. The programme is intended to be followed independently in the comfort of your own home. A further lesson will then be arranged to assess the efficacy of the programme and, if necessary, adjustments will be made at this time. The frequency of your lessons can be adjusted based on the progress being made. The aim is to help you integrate yoga into your daily life and for you to practice it, and thereby heal yourself, independently. The first noticeably positive effects can be expected after four to six weeks of regular practice.
